I never liked this holiday, but here I am debating outfit choices for a romantic night.
Happy Sunday,
How are you? I hope your January was a great start to the year. Have you maintained any of your New Year's resolutions, or have you given up?
So, this blog will be different from the last few posts. I don't want to talk about deep stuff today. It's time to switch it up and discuss fashion. (Yasss!) I love fashion, but I'm not too fond of styling myself. Styling especially is very uncomfortable as a Plus Size woman. I don't particularly appreciate how most things fit my body. (This is a body positivity blog site.) I do not hate the current state of my body. My wardrobe is the problem. Last night, I had the most challenging time finding something to wear for an improv date. (God, help me)
I need assistance with planning my look for my Valentine's date. At the moment, money is scarce, and I will be thrifting some pieces. To set the scene, my boyfriend is planning a casual affair. I heard a movie, and dinner was on the list.
BACK TO THE LOOK
My style is eclectic (To be honest, I have no clue). I prefer something timeless, modern, and chic. The go-to color for me is black. (ok ok) I won't wear all black. Instead, I will introduce a pop of color. (Maybe Red, Berry, or Pink). I will attempt to do my hair and nails (Wigs are about to be my best friends). Below, I will list critical pieces for my look. Please be sure to comment with any ideas for my outfit.
COZY KNITS

Knits are the perfect addition to a winter wardrobe. I would love to find a red sweater or berry knit pencil skirt to pair with a satin cami or satin midi skirt. To anchor the look, I would add knee-high or ankle boots.

SILKY SATINS

A fluid slip dress has many styling possibilities. I would top the loo with a casual blazer or oversized cardigan.
